The Yoga Retreat Holiday consist of morning and sunset yoga classes. The duration of a Yoga session is 1hour 15min followed by breathing techniques and meditation. It also includes a Yoga booklet which consist of yoga topics which we will informally discuss to deepen our understanding of yoga.
You can spent the rest of the day either relaxing, getting massaged, strolling barefoot on the beach, swimming, diving, snorkeling or take a Dhow sailing cruise.

Yoga Style - Hatha Yoga based on the Ashtanga Primary Series sequence
The yoga classes are vibrant and include pranayama (breathing techniques), sun salutations, moon salutations and a dynamic flowing sequence of asanas (postures) bringing awareness into mindfulness and energy flow, followed by relaxation and a short meditation. The classes are suitable for all levels and variations are given accordingly. Yoga groups are small which allows for personal attention and adjustment.
Outdoor Sea view Yoga Studio:
Morning yoga sessions will take place “Under-the-Tree” yoga studio with a beautiful sea view.
Sunset Yoga takes place on the rooftop overlooking the ocean with the most spectacular sunsets.
Pranayama (Breathing techniques)
Yoga is defined as a union between the soul and the body. As such, the breath is seen as the fundamental link between our physical and mental aspects. Yogic breathing exercises or pranayama teaches one how to re-energise the body and control the mind by regulating the flow of Prana (life force). We will practise Ujjayi Breathing (victorious Breath), Kapalabhati (Cleansing breath) and Analoma Viloma (Alternate nostril breathing).
Concentration / Meditation
Meditation, like sleep, cannot be taught – it comes by itself, in its own time. But if you follow the right steps to begin with, you can speed up your progress considerably. We will practise short meditation session of 8– 10 min after each yoga session. Some of the mediations will be guided meditations on the 7 chakras.
Reiki Treatment
Reiki is an energetic healing therapy, the therapist helps to open up your bodies pranic (energetic) flow toward the body's healing itself. When energy is stagnant it becomes the breading ground for disease. Reiki helps to get energy flowing through the body, shifting contracted energy and shifting dis-ease in the body.

Partner yoga is a beautiful way to share yoga with friends and loved ones and connecting through the synchronicity of breathing with your partner and harmony of movement . This helps us to come deeper into a pose with the support of a partner and to explore a posture further.
