We’re here for the lover of sun, the go-er of the beach, adventure, fitness & yoga!

This Fitness & Yoga Holiday is designed to teach you the basic understanding of functional body movement and to give you a workout program which you can continue with after your holiday. Morning yoga classes with Marisa and sunset fitness classes with Oori.

In 6 fitness sessions Oori will provide you with the tools and knowledge to develop and continue a fitness program by yourself without the need of an instructor or gym.

What better setting to develop your fitness on the beach against the backdrop of the sun setting in Zanzibar! You can enjoy the rest of your day, relaxing on the beach, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, stand-up-paddle-boarding or exploring Zanzibar! We will also do an optional Buggy Tour!

TRX (short for total-body resistance exercise) is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete the exercises.

TABATA training is one of the most popular forms of high-intensity interval training (HIIT). It consists of eight rounds of ultra-high-intensity exercises in a specific 20-seconds-on, 10-seconds-off interval.

Meet your Fitness Instructor Oori Levy


Oori Levy’s training programs focus on developing both your body and your lifestyle to meet your goals. The course include building muscle, conditioning, general fitness and tarketing specific muscle groups.  In order to understand how we can develop our body muscles and our personal fitness, we must understand the body anatomy.
Oori is an ex-special forces officer , training army fitness all over the world, guiding and bringing his students to physical and mental strength.
Oori Levy is a certified Personal Trainer and specializes in functional training.

Yoga Teacher Marisa van Vuuren


Marisa, founder of Yoga Zanzibar teaches Ashtanga based and Creative Vinyasa Flow with an emphasis on alignment according to the individual’s needs, flowing movements linked with an intense focus on the importance of applying the audible Ujjayi breath, dynamic fun flows with arm balances broken down in stages accessible to everyone. She focus on initiating movements from the deep core line – the latest fascia anatomy research from Tom Myers. Focusing on movements releasing the fascia lines and preventing unnecessary tension in our body during our physical practise.
